Discovering the Earth with Augmented Reality
GlobeARound to Earth is an Augmented Reality app for navigating the Tecnodidattica Globe through your Smartphone and discovering interactive and multimedia content related to the geography of the Earth.
By framing the sphere of the globe with your device’s camera, you can view animals, plants and important geographical sites in 3D.
In addition to the Augmented Reality navigation mode, interactive content can also be enjoyed through a simple interactive 3d interface with just a few finger touches. With a simple touch, individual elements can be selected and displayed interactively, rotated and enlarged, sounds and descriptions can be heard, and images and fact sheets can be viewed.
