From June 29 to July 5, 2025, the RAISE project takes center stage inside the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, showcasing Liguria’s scientific and industrial identity through robotics, artificial intelligence, digital twins, and data management.

Throughout Liguria Week, the ecosystem’s four focus areas—inclusive cities, healthcare, eco-sustainable robotics, and smart logistics—are presented in a dedicated space via EXPOsing RAISE – Present and Future of Italian Robotics and AI, an immersive video designed as a dialogue between two humanoid robots: Italy’s R1 and Japan’s Pepper. Together, they guide visitors through 3D models, interactive platforms, health tech solutions, and smart environments.

The visual narrative also features solutions developed by ETT for inclusive and smart cities, including digital interfaces for public services and data-driven tools to support decision-making and enhance the urban experience.

The video is the result of a collaborative effort led by the Communication Team of RAISE’s Spoke 5—especially CNR and ETT—which handled the production from scripting to filming and editing. Other Spokes provided content related to the cutting-edge solutions they are designing.

Footage also includes quadruped robots, drones, technologies for cultural heritage enhancement, and a serious game set in the Port of Genoa.

By combining traditional expertise with advanced research, RAISE presents at Expo a “glocal” model of innovation—one that looks to the future by building on local strengths.
