The project developed for the Central Apennine River Basin Authority (AUBAC) leverages cutting-edge Mixed and Virtual Reality technologies to enhance the management of water and environmental resources within the Central Apennine watershed, as part of the “ACQUACENTRO” program.
ETT designed a Mixed Reality application for Digital Twin visualization, accessible via HoloLens 2 headsets. This tool enables users to overlay informational layers and interact with data in an advanced, intuitive way.
Additionally, ETT developed a Virtual Reality application that offers an immersive exploration of environmental data, featuring 3D maps and key points of interest, optimized for Meta Quest 3 headsets.
Beyond staff training, both applications serve as powerful tools for raising awareness and deepening public understanding of natural phenomena and their impact on the environment and local communities—ultimately fostering greater engagement and participation among stakeholders.
