The Nautilos Summer School returns with a new second edition, this year in Crete, Greece (at the HCMR facilities) from April 17 to 19, 2024.
A three-day course that invites marine scientists and technicians to immerse themselves in engaging lectures, discussions, and practical experiences on crucial topics such as marine debris, sensors, samplers, and ocean observations. The program is designed to enhance professional skills and competencies, offering practical insights and knowledge to drive advancements in the Blue Economy and promote open data sharing.
This year, ETT will again participate with teaching activities: they will conduct a lesson on the history and best practices of Citizen Science and another on tools for data research and visualization.
ETT plays a key role in the Nautilos project: it is responsible for defining and developing the IT platforms that underpin the entire data management value chain, from acquisition to their transformation into products for public use and consumption.
