From January 20 to 24, 2025, Lisbon will host the first “LandSeaLot Integration Week,” an event bringing together the LandSeaLot Consortium, representatives from co-designer and citizen science forums, and key stakeholders from research infrastructures.

Among the participants is ETT, which plays a pivotal role within the Consortium by managing the procurement process for low-cost water observation technologies used for data analysis. Additionally, ETT oversees the integration of in-situ data collected through LandSeaLot into the EMODnet Ingestion platform.

The primary goal of the project is to foster a unified strategy for observing the land-sea interface, enhancing and integrating existing efforts across Europe and beyond to address local and societal challenges while promoting healthy environments for a thriving Blue Economy.

In addition to the general assembly and integration workshop, the event’s agenda will include field visits to the Sado and Tagus estuaries, as well as dedicated sessions to define a shared observation strategy. Activities will take place across the Oceanário de Lisboa and the Museu das Comunicações.
