At the EMODnet Open Conference 2023 in Brussels (Nov. 29-30), experts will present the latest developments and innovations in EMODnet‘s in situ marine data services, user interface, and infrastructure to meet user and policy needs for a digital and green future.
The 2023 Conference will be the first of its kind since the unification of EMODnet’s thematic services in January 2023. It will present EMODnet’s updated central portal and the added value of a single access point to discover, search, view and download all of EMODnet’s marine data and data products, as well as the value of centralized features and functionality.
The Jamboree opening session “EMODnet: A unified EC marine data service” will be held on Nov. 29 from 2 to 3:25 p.m. (Inspire room). Antonio Novellino, ETT R&D manager will be a panelist during the panel “EMODnet EC marine data service: Thematic innovations” in which coordinators and experts from present the latest EMODnet services through seven broad topics, including current offerings, latest achievements, partnerships and emerging innovations.
On Nov. 30 within the plenary SESSION 4: EMODnet, Ocean Observation and the marine knowledge value chain Novellino will speak on “EMODnet and Copernicus Marine Service INSTAC and the Marine In Situ Coordination Group.”
