ETT’s journey within ArtLab—the platform promoted by Fondazione Fitzcarraldo and dedicated to innovation in cultural policies and practices—began in 2022 with participation in seminars focused on digital transition and the strategic role of cultural and creative industries.

In 2023, the spotlight shifted to the opportunities presented by Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) and cohesion policies, while in 2024, ETT contributed to the presentation of the strategic agenda of EIT Culture & Creativity.

In 2025, ArtLab will take place in Bari on May 27–28 at the Fiera del Levante. During the two-day event, ETT will be represented by Francesca Paola Leon, Project Manager & Business Developer, who will speak in the session “Connective Intelligences: Culture, Data, and Digital Environments.”

In her talk, Francesca will share ETT’s expertise on these themes, highlighting several projects that explore the use of artificial intelligence to enhance the relationship between audiences and cultural heritage.

At Palazzo Lanfranchi, the strategic use of AI—guided by a human touch—creates a revolutionary experience that brings artworks to life. Meanwhile, at the Antiquarium of Nervia, a talking avatar powered by AI welcomes visitors and introduces them to the exhibition and the local history.

These two examples show how technology and creativity can seamlessly integrate to open up new ways of experiencing culture.
