The International XR-Metaverse Conference is an annual event on immersive technology organized by the International Association of Immersive Technology Innovation (IAITI), aiming to bring together the industry and academia to discuss, present, and showcase the latest trends and advance the field of immersive technology.
This year’s edition will be held at BEXCO, Busan Exhibition and Convention Center in Korea, from May 20 to 22, 2024, and will focus on the theme Metaverse: Where Reality Meets Imagination.

Adele Magnelli, International Project Manager at ETT, will present the case study of the Levi Hall at Palazzo Lanfranchi, part of the National Museum of Matera, with its Director, Annamaria Mauro, in the presentation Metaverse: Where Reality Meets Imagination. This immersive experience enhances the style and paintings of Carlo Levi and represents the first case study where artificial intelligence is used to support the works of a permanent museum.
Alongside Federico Basso, Director and Creative Director of ETT, and Alessandro Cavallaro, Content Curator of ETT, Magnelli will continue with the story of Casa Eroica through the thematic presentation Eroica VR: A challenging production for experiencing a cycling event from all perspectives.What happens when virtual reality meets a bicycle race? From production to the technologies used, and user feedback, the case study aims to illustrate the innovation of the Casa Eroica project and its connection with the heritage of the Eroica brand.
