Ocean-Cryosphere Exchanges in ANtarctica: Impacts on Climate and the Earth System
OCEAN ICE brings together in one framework the expertise developed by several research projects on the elements affecting climate change. For the first time, a project beyond integrating the observational system with mathematical forecasting models addresses the problem of the reliability of climate change scenarios and which key events (tipping points) identify them. The ultimate goal is to provide the information needed to implement management and mitigation policies. ETT is in charge of the crucial task of organising the exchange of the various data and analyses that underpin the project’s scientific assessments.
