Immersive Experience Room

The initiative reinforces cutting-edge technical training designed to meet the needs of the labour market and train professionals capable of connecting technological innovation and agri-food supply chains. The project is an essential tool in the ITS Academy’s training programme to promote sustainable and innovative growth in the sector and aims to develop new technological skills.

A conference room, an immersive experience and a VR area have been created, equipped with VR headsets, immersive projections and 3D printers, designed for simulation, remote immersive viewing and digital marketing in the agri-food sectors.

The conference room is equipped with a state-of-the-art audio system and a wireless system that allows content to be shared from PCs quickly and easily. The room can host immersive experiences with full-wall video projections on three sides, equipped with motorised screens, allowing for easy management of thematic content and offering a multi-sensory experience that emotionally engages viewers.

The VR Area has six headsets that allow users to enjoy customised thematic content, offering a realistic experience of processes and environments in an agri-food company that are difficult to access in reality, such as greenhouses, cellars or processing plants. This technology allows students to integrate theory with practical virtual experiences, developing technical skills, problem-solving abilities and concrete preparation for the challenges of the job market.

Finally, the system of cameras installed in the educational greenhouse allows remote monitoring of activities, which can be viewed in real time from the Immersive Room of the Technology Centre. This makes it possible to follow and check educational exercises without interruption, ensuring a safe and comprehensive learning experience.
