The exhibition traces the progression of major “revolutions,” from the Neolithic to the post-war economic boom, the beginning of the Anthropocene-that transformed Liguria and its sea.

The exhibition allows visitors to meet the personalities who made history in land exploration. Arturo Issell and Clarence Bicknell were brought to life by ETT’s artificial intelligence to narrate in first person the discoveries and research to which they devoted their lives as scholars.

Their talking avatars were generated using generative AI software that allows the creation of realistic photos to be combined with face animation techniques based on motion capture processes.

A video projection integrates the two talking avatars and HR images of objects displayed in the room and frottage made by Bicknell.
