The 2nd meeting of the Archaeodigit project took place on September 4th and 5th at the Faculty of Economics and Tourism “Dr. Mijo Mirković” of Juraj Dobrila University in Pula, Croatia.
The 30 representatives from various Italian and Croatian partners presented and discussed the initial results of analyses conducted on the 4 archaeological sites of interest (Sepino Archaeological Park, Underwater archaeological site Trstenik-Kaštel Sućurac, Archaeological Area of Helvia Ricina, and Archaeological site of Fulfinum-Mirine, Omišalj) regarding the state of the art in management, cultural and tourism enhancement, as well as the use of new technologies.
The meeting featured an agenda with key sessions dedicated to the collaborative development of methodologies and planning of future project activities, including the development of methods and strategies to ensure effective involvement of stakeholders and target groups.
Two days of intense discussions and collaborations, during which the project teams discussed the communication strategy, outlined the next steps in project and financial management, and verified progress in planning upcoming technical activities, particularly in the development of the Archaeodigit digital platform, a milestone of the project.
