The 18th AIRM (Italian Association for Hand Rehabilitation) Congress will be held on 20 and 21 October at the Magazzini del Cotone in Genoa: The new ways of rehabilitation between past and future, including workshops and training sessions.
During the event, ETT will be present with a stand dedicated to HTS (Hand Test System), the first CE medical device designed to provide a quantitative assessment of the motor performance of the hand.
The HTS is a valid tool for early diagnosis and long-term monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of pharmacological and/or rehabilitative treatment of various pathologies including including multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and peripheral neuropathies.
At the heart of the system is a pair of gloves equipped with sensors that detect the touch of the hand in a completely non-invasive way. Using dedicated software running on a netbook, the doctor can monitor and display the results of the exercise performance.
