Modena UNESCO Site

Modena UNESCO Site is a multimedia app developed by ETT for in-depth artistic and historical exploration of monuments that are part of the world heritage of the city of the same name, which integrates and exceeds the classic audioguide model, offering in addition a series of value-added content with a strong technological component.

The app is divided into 5 main routes with a total of 44 POIs: Torre Ghirlandina, Duomo, Palazzo Comunale, Duomo Museums, Piazza Grande.

The app enriches the visit thanks to multimedia content: descriptive text and audio, iconographic kit, 360-degree panoramic images, and edutainment activities-such as the scroll and discover that unveils hidden details and offers historical comparisons between images of the present and the past, or the scratch activities for observing places and artistic artifacts that allow you to maximize attention to the details of works and monuments.

These are complemented by period or documentary-thick photographs from the city’s main photographic and historical archives and libraries, retrieved and included in the visual gallery of individual Points of Interest.

Through the use of maps, visitors can explore these places, choose the desired route and follow the different stages of this itinerary. The multimedia narration guides the visitor along the evolution of the city over time, also offering unprecedented perspectives and viewpoints.
