ECHOES Cascading Grants’ first call
The Cascading Grants funding program of ECHOES (European Cultural Heritage: Opportunities for Citizens’ Engagement and Social Inclusion) provides financial support to consortia led by Cultural Heritage Institutions (CHI) to engage with the Cultural Heritage Cloud. The program will support up to 50 projects through three calls, aiming to enhance digital engagement, data sharing, and collaboration.
The first call offers funding of up to €60,000 per project, with a maximum of 12 projects to be selected. Its goal is to involve a diverse range of actors from the cultural heritage community by supporting cultural heritage organizations in the collection and sharing of datasets intended for the Cultural Heritage Cloud. Through digitization, archiving, and data accessibility, funded projects should contribute to the enhancement of cultural heritage, facilitating access to and dissemination of digital cultural resources.
The call is open to small and medium-sized cultural heritage institutions, such as museums, libraries, archives, and nonprofit cultural organizations, based in an EU Member State or in a country associated with the Horizon Europe program.
The program is managed by the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision.
