On the occasion of Ocean Data Week in the final leg of The Ocean Race Genova “ The Grand Finale, ETT organised four days of events themed around the sea and sustainability.

From 27 to 30 June, in the Blue Pavilion of the Ocean Live Park, a packed programme of meetings and workshops on ETT’s international projects with industry experts and project partners.

 

 

The “Policy Round Table – Supporting Ocean Observations” panel, organised by ETT as part of The Ocean Race – The Grand Finale, will provide a crucial opportunity for policy-making. This event, which is part of the international NAUTILOS project, aims to identify the major concerns related to Ocean Observation activities and develop strategies to address them.

➡️ The NAUTILOS (New Approach to Underwater Technologies for Innovative, Low-cost Ocean observationS) project aims to unlock critical knowledge in the ocean in the coming decades and realise the mutual benefits of marine observation.

➡️ The H2020 FARO project aims to develop a new generation of low-cost sensors and samplers and integrate observation technologies as well as platforms into large-scale demonstrations in European seas, significantly contributing to the democratisation of marine monitoring.
