The Ocean Race will be featured with numerous events and activities at the Boat Show, where it was first announced that Genoa would be awarded the “Grand Finale.” In the Lounge set up on the Waterfront Marina (Maxi Yachts Area), it will be possible to learn all the details of the historic race around the planet that will take Genoa around the world from next January 15 until its expected arrival at the end of June.
Featured at the Boat Show was the commitment of the Ligurian capital to work alongside The Ocean Race as part of the Genoa Process, the process that will lead to the draft Declaration of Ocean Rights that will be presented to the UN next year. All visitors will be able to sign the “One Blue Voice” petition and thus make their own contribution in giving Oceans a voice in this important sustainability challenge.
All visitors will be able to experience the adrenaline rush of the world’s toughest regatta in the special immersive chamber that will be set up at the entrance to the show.
The multimedia exhibit that the Genoa City Council will bring to the Salone through the technical sponsorship of ETT – which designs and builds multimedia displays for culture, tourism and events internationally-will offer an immersive “preview” experience of The Ocean Race. Visitors will be able to experience firsthand the excitement of the race with the immersive multi-projection that will then follow the Genoa booth to the various stages of The Ocean Race around the world.
Numerous events promoted in the different locations of the Salon with great ocean sailors sports champions and authorities.

Then, at the end of June, it will welcome “The Grand Finale” with the new Levante Waterfront transforming into the Ocean Live Park, where sailing, sports, food, music and sustainability will be the stars of a nine-day program of events from June 24 to July 2, 2023.
