ARCHAEODIGIT: innovation for the management and enhancement of archaeological sites
ARCHAEODIGIT was created with the aim of modernising archaeological site management practices through the development of an innovative and effective methodology for the conservation, interpretation and enhancement of heritage.
The project adopts an integrated strategy involving all stakeholders in the local tourism ecosystem and includes:
- online promotion of cultural itineraries, even during the off-season;
- online promotion of cultural itineraries, even during the off-season;
- use of immersive and engaging technologies, such as Metaverse and Augmented Reality;
- creation of digital cultural itineraries combining archaeological assets, intangible heritage and tourist information.
The aim is to attract new audiences, enhance the visitor experience and strengthen the competitiveness of cultural destinations through advanced digital tools.
The contribution of ETT
As a project partner, ETT coordinates the participatory design process for the ARCHAEODIGIT platform, conceived as a shared tool for promoting heritage and communicating local tourist services.
In addition to developing the platform, ETT oversees the technological and user experience aspects of designing the pilot actions planned for the sites involved, contributing across the board to the implementation of the project’s digital solutions.
Participation in tourismA represents an important opportunity to present ARCHAEODIGIT’s integrated approach to the sector’s audience and to strengthen the dialogue between technological innovation and cultural heritage.
