The ECHOES Policy Event & Communities Onboarding Workshop, an event of European relevance organised by the ECHOES – European Cloud for Heritage OpEn Science consortium in cooperation with the European Commission, will take place on 12 and 13 December in Brussels.
On 12 December there will be a panel discussion ‘Establishing a Multi-Level Governance for the Cultural Heritage Cloud’, during which speakers will outline the future of multi-level governance for the Cultural Heritage Cloud, a new infrastructure designed to revolutionise the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage through technological innovation and international collaboration.
The event marks the official launch of the Cultural Heritage Cloud, a major initiative of the European Commission to address the challenges and opportunities of cultural heritage in the digital age.
On 13 December, a dedicated workshop will offer communities practical guidance on how to actively participate in the platform and leverage advanced technologies to promote cultural heritage. The event will be accessible both in person, at the Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage (KIK-IRPA) in Brussels, and online.
