During the event “Opportunities of immersive technologies for media and digital literacy: experiences compared” (”Opportunità delle tecnologie immersive per l’alfabetizzazione mediatica e digitale: esperienze a confronto”), held on February 15th at MUST – National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan, Maria Emanuela Oddo (Cultural Project Manager at ETT) presented Twenty Thousand Sounds Under the Seas (Ventimila Suoni Sotto i Mari), a game developed by Culturgame.
The game-based solution aims to raise awareness among users about the issue of acoustic pollution and the impact that anthropogenic sounds have on the marine ecosystem. Twenty Thousand Sounds Under the Seas is a digital board game created by ETT Spa in collaboration with the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station. The aim of the game is to explore the seabed and recover three different sounds at three different depths during a mission.
