Culturgame – Game-based experiences for cultural heritage will be present at Lucca Comics 2023.
In this project, ETT is leading a group of 7 partners: the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station, Protom, Red Raion, the University of Sassari, the University of Milan Bicocca and Bax Energy.
The goal is to develop game-based solutions for cultural and scientific enhancement. Five solutions have been developed, specifically related to historical-archaeological heritage enhancement, science dissemination, and awareness of the ecology of aquatic environments.
EcoBab: the game starring phytoplankton, made by ETT for the University of Sassari Museum.
20,000 Sounds Under the Seas: Developed by ETT for the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station, this game challenges players to dive into the abyss and recognise underwater sounds.
PhytoAdventure: this game puts your knowledge to the test and invites you to learn how to manage the environmental conditions in which phytoplants survive. The game was created by Red Raion for the Museum of the University of Sassari.
Darwin & Dohrn: Bax Energy created a virtual tour of Darwin & Dohrn for the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station, which can be used in virtual reality or on the web.
AquaMANN: The aim of the game is to find hydriae and collect as many points as possible. Protom created this game for the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.
On Thursday, November 2 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Villa Bottini (SI14), a panel will be held to present the games created for three Italian museums: the National Archaeological Museum in Naples, the Anton Dohrn Zoological Station in Naples, and the Museum of the University of Sassari
