The 7th edition of Cinema e Ambiente Avezzano, a ‘Green’ event that every year combines reflection and in-depth analysis on hot topics of contemporary debate, felt especially by the younger generations. This year’s theme will be ‘Thirst’, reflecting on the scarcity of water resources, their waste and, above all, their vital importance for our planet
The festival will begin on Monday 12 and end on Sunday 18 June, in Avezzano from 12 to 16 and then, over the weekend of 17 and 18, in the picturesque village of Tagliacozzo. An event that investigates the most innovative languages through which to convey new content and that aims to promote sustainable development of the cinema and audiovisual production chain in the Abruzzo region.
Organised by CinemAbruzzo Aps and sponsored by The Factory srl, ‘Cinema e Ambiente Avezzano’ is curated by artistic director Paolo Santamaria.
Seven days of festival dedicated to the international film competition, talks on environmental issues and Special Events.
Scheduled in the Sala Irti in Avezzano (12 to 16 June) and then in the Teatro Italia in Tagliacozzo (17 and 18 June) is the screening of ‘A Journey Into Diamante – The Blue Goddess’ by ETT Gruppo SCAI and the Municipality of Diamante. As part of the project to enhance the Municipality of Diamante and its Multimedia Aquarium, it was co-produced by ETT spa and the municipality of Diamante (Cs). The Virtual Reality experience will be presented during the festival by: Antonio Cauteruccio delegate for the environment of the municipality of Diamante and the creator of the work Adele Magnelli, International Project Manager and Experience Designer for ETT S.p.A and the Content Curator Digital Story Teller ETT S.p.a Alessandro Cavallaro. ‘The realisation of this short film in Virtual Reality in collaboration with ETT,’ comments Cauteruccio, ’is a new perspective of our means and adds a new competitiveness to the tourist image of our territory. Viewers will be provided with special visors, in a dedicated corner, to experience the immersive journey. Virtual Reality technology merges with art and creativity, opening the door to a unique experience.
