The conference represents a significant milestone in the project’s progress, offering an opportunity to share the results achieved by the international consortium and to explore how digital technologies can contribute to the enhancement and protection of archaeological heritage in an inclusive and sustainable way.

The programme includes presentations, round tables and interactive sessions dedicated to:

innovative digital tools for documenting and interpreting archaeological sites;

sustainable tourism strategies that benefit local communities;

good practices for engaging policy makers, citizens and visitors;

the role of digital innovation in improving accessibility and the experience of cultural sites.

In addition to promoting the exchange of knowledge, the MidTerm Conference aims to strengthen cooperation between cultural heritage professionals, tourism operators, technology experts and regional authorities. ARCHAEODIGIT’s collaborative approach is geared towards developing integrated strategies that promote cultural tourism as a driver of economic growth, social inclusion and sustainability.
