From March 26 to 28, 2024, the kick-off meeting for the LandSeaLot project (Land-Sea Interface: Let’s Observe Together!) will take place in Delft, The Netherlands.
LandSeaLot studies the interface between land and sea by mapping existing sensor systems and proposing more efficient usage methodologies. The project involves several coastal areas across Europe and aims to enhance the data value chain through the co-design of a common observation and data collection strategy. This is made possible by the tested, improved, and guided use of low-cost technologies by citizens, supported by the European marine network.
ETT is involved in WP4, where it is responsible for the sensor procurement process, and WP6, where it integrates the data and presents it to the scientific community, contributing to the promotion of standardized observation and data collection methodologies.
