The history and the events of the many protagonists of fishing between the 19th and 20th centuries
ETT designed the multimedia exhibit for the Sea and Maritime Civilization Museum in Porto Recanati Not just a simple maritime museum, but a place that tells the story of an entire community between the 1800s and 1900s. Fishermen, but also women, children, boats and fishing techniques.
Two 360° viewers show typical fishing techniques, such as fishing with the “sciabbega” (type of boat) while films from three projectors reveal the secrets of net making, life at sea and various types of fishing. With multi-touch tables created for students, films on sea life and stations with images on typical cuisine, recipes and fish sales, and actors accompanying to discover the historical experience, the territory speaks out.
