One of Italy’s most important historical sites and among Europe’s most significant
In Cavour Castle in Santena rest the remains of statesman Camillo Benso next to his family members, in the place of his most intimate affections. It is here that the restoration work and multimedia installation of the Cavour Memorial were carried out. ETT created the entire multimedia installation, starting with the identity concept and graphic design, which includes content illustrating significant episodes in European and Italian history.
Through the use of advanced technological solutions, which allow the management of visits and content in five languages (Italian, English, French, Spanish and German) through the simple use of a tablet, significant episodes of European and Italian history are retraced, and the main characters of the Risorgimento and family members who lived alongside the architect of the Unification of Italy are met.
It is a journey through 21 rooms and in which moments of entertainment and insight are skillfully integrated with the technological and lighting infrastructure of the castle along its three exhibition floors. By visiting the castle, the park, the tomb of the Benso family, and the exhibition, visitors have the opportunity to discover and appreciate one of the most important historical sites in Italy and among the most significant in Europe.
