Leonardo: il dono della vigna
Vinci: an exhibition space dedicated to Leonardo Da Vinci that accompanies the discovery of the Maestro's passion for wine and the well-being at table.
Leonardo: il dono della vigna (Leonardo: the gift of the vineyard) is the interactive exhibition – located in an old gallery that housed a wine museum in the 19th century – that recounts the relationship between Leonardo and wine by tracing the vineyards between Vinci, Milan, Tuscany and Romagna.
The visitor is immersed in a space divided into five sections and interspersed with four multimedia exhibits. Among these, a sound installation reproduces the sound of moving pages and the reading aloud of fragments of Leonardo’s notebook, while an animation of Leonardo’s letter to the farmer of Fiesole proposes his methodological observations and winemaking techniques, accompanied by the sound of the movement of the feather inked on the parchment.
The exhibition closes with the projection of a Renaissance table laid, in a composition animated as visitors pass by.
