The Acqualagna Truffle Museum opens

The 53rd National White Truffle Fair was held in Acqualagna, the extraordinary news of the 2018 edition was the opening of the Truffle Museum.
A new story on the world of truffles dedicated to the general public, through a multi-sensorial approach, highly interactive thanks to digital technologies and virtual realities designed and created by 490 Studio, a company of the ETT Group.

Based on the indications of the International Council of Musem, the Museum fulfils the precise task of acquiring, preserving, handing down and communicating the material and immaterial testimonies of humanity. The Acqualagna Truffle Museum is born from the desire to strategically invest in the enhancement of a cultural resource of the territory that is at the same time an important community value as well as a fundamental economic resource.
The Acqualagna Truffle Museum, designed by the Architect Alessandra Panzini of Marchingegno srl, has an educational as well as economic and tourist dynamization function. The Truffle is not only a precious fruit of the earth, but the truffle is also an ancient world of history, stories, legends, alchemy, essential elements in affirming to communicate its importance. For all these characteristics the truffle museum is projected into the new vein of the “Experience Museum”, museums that involve the public for the entire tour through a multi-sensorial approach, highly interactive thanks to digital technologies and virtual realities.
