The photographic exhibition “Our cultural heritage: where the past meets the future” was held in Matera, at the Hypogea of Sant ‘Agostino, adjacent to the church of the same name.
The exhibition was held on the sidelines of the 2018 Annual Review Meeting between the European Commission and the Member State, dedicated to projects for the redevelopment of the Italian cultural heritage, co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds and is part of the initiatives of the European Year of Cultural Heritage. “In Italy, there are over one hundred thousand registered cultural assets. Historical, monumental and architectural heritage, archaeological sites, plus environmental and intangible assets. A unicum that allows Italy to be at the top in the list of Unesco World Heritage properties ”.
Among the exhibited projects also “Virtual Destination Italy”, a project by ETT still in progress and set in different locations in the Val d’Orcia.
