From 29 September to 2 October 2025<\/strong>, the Blue\u2011Cloud Hackathon<\/a><\/strong> will bring together scientists, developers, and innovators interested in exploring new approaches to marine data analysis and valorization. The event is part of the European project Blue\u2011Cloud 2026<\/strong>, which aims to build an open science ecosystem for ocean research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the hackathon, participants will design and test data-driven workflows by integrating diverse datasets using the digital tools available on the Blue\u2011Cloud platform, such as Virtual Labs<\/strong> and Workbenches<\/strong>. Activities will focus on four main challenges related to understanding marine ecosystems, environmental monitoring, and risk management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a technological partner of Blue\u2011Cloud 2026<\/a><\/strong>, ETT<\/strong> contributes to the development of tools for data analysis and sharing, as well as the design of digital environments that support the scientific community. In particular, ETT coordinates EMODnet Physics<\/a><\/strong>, one of the federated infrastructures of the platform. This portal aggregates, harmonizes, and distributes physical oceanographic data from international sources and plays a strategic role in ensuring access to high-quality ocean observations. It is fully integrated into the broader ecosystem of Blue Data Services<\/strong> promoted by the project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
