From June 4 to 6, 2025, the city of Nice <\/strong>will host the One Ocean Science Congress<\/a>, an international scientific event organized by CNRS and Ifremer as a key part of the Third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC3). The congress offers a crucial opportunity to share knowledge, solutions, and technologies that support marine ecosystem protection and the sustainable management<\/strong> of ocean-related activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this context, ETT <\/strong>will present four virtual posters showcasing its commitment to European projects focused on ocean sustainability through cutting-edge digital solutions. The authors include Antonio Novellino, Head of the Smart City Business Unit at ETT; Giulia Dapueto, R&D Project Manager; Beatrice Maddalena, PhD in Data Management; and Marco Alba, R&D Tech Manager<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unlocking the Marine Soundscape with an AI-Powered Curated Open Library of Underwater Sound Signatures<\/strong>: this paper highlights the ECoSS<\/a> project, aimed at developing an open library of underwater audio recordings enriched with artificial intelligence. As the project’s technology partner, ETT is responsible for building the digital infrastructure enabling the collection, classification, and access to acoustic data\u2014ultimately enhancing understanding and protection of marine environments through soundscape analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Integrating Offshore Wind and Low-Trophic Aquaculture for Multi-Use in the North and Baltic Seas<\/strong>: a focus on the OLAMUR<\/a>, project, which combines offshore wind energy and low-trophic aquaculture in multi-use marine scenarios. ETT leads the design and implementation of the digital infrastructure and interoperable data system that supports decision-making by ensuring data collection, management, and dissemination in line with European standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EMODnet River Node: A Near Real-Time Hydrological Service Designed for the Coastal Community<\/strong>: EMODnet River Node<\/strong> is a hydrological service developed to provide river discharge data to support coastal communities. Within the EMODnet Physics EMODnet Physics<\/a> network, ETT contributes by developing advanced digital services and integrating data to improve accessibility and usability for end users. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

EMODnet: An EU Data Service Providing FAIR, Integrated Marine Data for the Global Ocean Data Ecosystem<\/strong>: a spotlight on EMODnet\u2019s role in delivering integrated marine data aligned with FAIR principles. For over a decade, ETT has coordinated the thematic activities of EMODnet Physics<\/a>, contributing to the design of interoperable systems for ocean data collection, management, and sharing\u2014strengthening scientific knowledge and maritime spatial planning. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a pivotal moment for the future of our oceans, adopting knowledge-based solutions<\/strong> is essential to preserve marine ecosystems and build a sustainable future for generations to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
