“Brianza: Un Viaggio al cuore del design” (a journey to the heart of Design): on show in Cesano Maderno

The second stop of the multimedia travelling exhibition “Brianza: Un viaggio al cuore del design” opened in Cesano Maderno from 23 May to 2 June. It was produced by ETT in collaboration with 1P/Primo Piano.

The exhibition was opened on the occasion of the “Networks of the heart” competition prize ceremony, an initiative under the patronage of Retipiù and Brianzacque. It was hosted at the Palazzo Arese Borromeo, with free admission during opening hours.

“Brianza. Un viaggio al cuore del design” is an immersive journey through the history of design in Brianza. It traces the creation of the most significant furnishing items created by important international designers. These are made into products by ingenious companies, using the skills of technicians and the manual ability of artisans. The designs come to life and are enriched by the storytelling style of Philippe Daverio, art historian, essayist and teacher. Visitors see pictures of almost a hundred objects and furnishings, all scrolling around them in six design research-paths.
