ETT presents the new HTS at SICM 2018 after 15 years of research

Presented at the 14th AIRM CONGRESS – 56th SICM CONGRESS – “In search of lost function”, held in Pordenone from 4 to 6 October 2018, HTS (Hand Test System), the first medical device able to quantitatively assess the fine movements of hand, or movements that require precision, speed and independence of the fingers.

To objectify the monitoring of the motor ability of the hand through a compact, low-cost and easy-to-use technological device is the starting objective of the research project born from the long scientific collaboration between the University of Genoa and ETT, whose results are been put to good use with the creation of HTS.

Today HTS is a valid aid in assessing the level of disability, progression and effectiveness of a pharmacological and/or rehabilitative treatment in multiple areas, including Neurology, Physiotherapy, Orthopedics, Physiology and Occupational Therapy.
